Ann Wood Birdy take 2

I meant what I said, I was going to try a different material and went straight for some lovely cotton fabric from our local fabric shop. And guess what? It was much easier and I got a far better result.

These were taken before his wings went on and right now, his beak is drying so please come back to see the finished article later on, when I’ll add the photos to this post. I’ve also shortened the tail so that he is more Robin like and he will also be perched on a branch, if I can find a suitable clip, I think he’ll perch on the Christmas tree perfectly.

Again, if you are interested in having a go at this pattern, you can find it on Ann Wood’s page
