Yes, it’s been a week without a single post or word from me. I haven’t been feeling right and after much soul searching, self diagnosed myself with C.B.A Syndrome. I’m sure I’ll get over it but it’s one of those virus’ that can disappear for long periods at a time but return with a full on attack without warning.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this virus, don’t worry, it’s not contagious. It’s full name is Can’t Be Arsed Syndrome and as far as I am aware it’s not hereditary either 😀

My motivation went through the floor. To be fair I had a major issue with my shoulder last weekend, obviously slept funny on and had a bit of a recurrence of rotator cuff problem that I’ve had in the past. I also had the starting of a bug, another cold I think. But the desire to do anything creative was gone. I have a lovely new shelving unit that the husband put together for me, ready to start getting rid of plastic storage tubs and draws. But even that couldn’t tempt me to do anything. We’ve also been putting up new curtains and lights, general decoration things that required step ladders, drills and lots of swear words.

Anyhoo, I have returned and will be working on a lovely crow next week. I’ve done the body already and started on the embroidery. This crow is going to be in the ‘eating’ position, with his head to the floor. I’m also planning to incorporate some real feathers into the wings this time. I’ll keep you updated.

Time to tackle those new shelves, I might even give you a Friday ‘Shelfie’ when it’s done 🙂
